Belt grinder 2 x 48" - 2HP Motor With Speed Controller

We are excited to introduce our very own 2 x 48” belt grinder, the MK1, designed and manufactured in New Zealand! 

This grinder uses a 2 x 48” (50 x 1220mm) belt which has many different abrasive and none abrasive options. These belts can be found in the Belts section.

Features:

- Rotating grinding head to make use of the grinding plate at different angles. This also helps greatly when using the 30 and 50mm rubber contact wheels that currently come standard with the MK1.

- Pivotable table rest up to a 45 degree angle. We have made this extra large so there is plenty of work space! (350mm x 200mm)

- 2HP industrial grade motor with 2.2kw VFD. Powdered by a standard household plug. We recommend you keep this grinder in your workshop or shed though.

- Replaceable backing plate. These can be found in the Spares section as well as any other spare parts you might need in the future.

- Powder coated main frame.

 PLEASE NOTE this machine will arrive in two boxes. You will have to attach the motor using 4x supplied bolts, this requires 2x 13mm spanners. The power switch or speed controller can be mounted onto the machine however we do recommend locating it away from the machine to avoid collecting dust. The machine must be mounted to a sturdy work bench using 4x large screws or bolts to keep the machine vertical.
