Belt Grinder 2 x 48" - 1.5HP 2850RPM Motor With Speed Controller

We are excited to introduce our new model 2 x 48” belt grinder, the MK1.5, designed and manufactured in New Zealand! Limited number of these are available! 

This belt grinder uses the popular 2 x 48” (50 x 1220mm) belt which is known to have many different abrasive and none abrasive options.

Features:

- Rotatable grinding head to make use of the grinding plate and wheels at different angles. This also helps greatly when using the 30 and 50mm wheels that currently come standard with the MK1.5

- Pivotable table rest up to a 45 degree angle. We have made this extra large so there is plenty of work space! (350mm x 200mm).

- 1.5HP 2850RPM motor with speed controller. Usable speed range 150-2850RPM. (220V so can be used on standard single phase power supply, perfect for your garage or shed!). Push button forward and reverse control (note when put into reverse the belt tracking will adjust in the opposite direction, you will have to re track the belt, some belt wobble may occur during operation. We recommend only using the reverse operation at low RPM for sharpening and polishing).

- Solid Aluminium main arm.

- Replaceable backing plate. These can be found in the Spares section as well as any other spare parts you might need in the future. Note we will always carry spare parts for these machines.

- Powder coated main frame. 

 PLEASE NOTE - Due to the weight of this belt grinder it will be delivered by truck, unfortunately they do not support rural delivery. If you have a rural address this will be delivered to your nearest Depo. If needed please ask where that will be based on your location.
